6th February, - Day 3
I think  holiday plans are meant to be changed! We talked about being staying at Port Vincent, but are now set up at Edithburgh – where we originally made plans to stay. We are at the Foreshore Caravan Park – a 20ft drop down a cliff, but on the foreshore! Gorgeous park with views of St Vincent Gulf. Wind is still shocking.  I am hopeful to get a crab or two whilst here. There is a little jetty within walking distance that we were told you can crab from!  A lady caught a magnificent  squid off the jetty today – here’s hoping!!!!
Checked out the rock pool and snorkelling spot. Hope the wind abates so that we can get in on a comfortable day.

5th February – Day 2
The wind was horrific today, head winds, cross winds and dust storms made travelling uncomfortable as we crossed through the Wimmera – Carl was nervous about letting me drive as he estimated the winds up to 50knots and was concerned about the novice towing the van. He eventually gave in to my requests, but  limited me to 80kph. Didn’t take him long to fall asleep! I was hanging on to the steering wheel so tight trying to keep it all in a straight line that I got cramp in my fingers!! Lol! No cockies today, just heaps of galahs.
Changed our plans a bit, and ended up in Adelaide. Although the weather was very average we made good time and decided not to stay in Murray Bridge as we would have arrived there much earlier than anticipated. This camp park is an Oasis by comparison – ½ the price again as well though!

Tomorrow we head to the Yorke Peninsula, might change some plans as we go. Met some people yesterday who said that Edithburgh is absolutely beautiful, got a great area for snorkelling so we’re thinking we might stop there a night or 2. All plans are made to be changed.
